Programs & Activities
To improve awareness and encourage action in local community projects, HEAT has developed a range of programs over the years to engage the public in environmental issues. These include awareness campaigns, special events, public education and community outreach, as well as communications programs including a web site and newsletter.
Together with its partner organizations and other community groups, HEAT is actively involved in a wide range of community projects, including tree plantings, area clean-ups, watershed restoration projects, and educational initiatives.
