Humber Environmental Action Team

The Humber Environmental Action Team (HEAT) is non-profit environmental group that works to improve environmental awareness and stewardship in the community. Based out of Humber College in Toronto, HEAT works with its partners and other NGOs on a range of environmental initiatives, including public outreach, campaigns, and restoration projects along the Humber River.

The organization is also actively engaged in advocacy by participating on public policy forums such as the City of Toronto Sustainability Roundtable (SRT) and the annual Smog Summit. HEAT is proud to derive its name from the Humber, a Canadian Heritage River and the largest watershed in the GTA.

Please note we are still working on this site and will be adding more content soon.
